Quilting without Batting 2

 I was asked to quilt another quilt without batting!  It was a beautiful quilt, but since I had had some problems with the last one we stuck with the large loops for the quilting motif.

This time it worked so much better!  There were still some thread breaks, but not an insane number.  I started out with all new thread and tensioned the top layer instead of floating it like I normally do.  I'm not sure if one of those things made the difference or if there was something else that just worked better this time.
