I'm not always very good at getting the pebbles to be circles, and so when I've made one that is definetly not a circle I find myself wondering how it got to be that shape. Was it half out of the water for a while? Did it run into something really hard and crack? And then I remember that these aren't real pebbles.
Anyway, I just finished the last square in row 4, which puts me at 40% of the way finished with the quilting.
this combination of quilting patterns will give this quilt some wonderful texture! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a circular pebble, and if I did, it would look suspicious. They are all supposed to be different--like snowflakes and people!
ReplyDeleteI like the "river" and the curved piecing. Curved piecing is on my list to try this year. I have a UFO in need of some as well ; )
Amanda, I think it looks great!! I love your idea of the pebbles, I would have never thought of that! I can't wait to put it on my bed!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric choices and your quilting is beautiful
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! And I agree with Karen- I've never seen a perfectly round pebble.
