quilting pattern

Are you sick of this quilt yet?  I need more advice though.  And I like polls. :)

I'm going to be quilting it with a dark grey thread.  I'd like to do a pantograph because I don't have a lot of time to finish it, but do you think that is going to detract to much from the hearts?  Otherwise I could do a FMQ loopy meander.

Is a pantograph ok for this quilt?

Linking up with WIP Wednesday.

  1. I don't think I would like to see grey thread on the hearts. Maybe if you quilted around them.

  2. Oh, that is a great quilt! I would probably do a stitch in the ditch around the hearts with the gray thread.

  3. I'm useless concerning your decision making. Just stopping by to say how much I enjoy seeing this come together. :)

  4. I wouldn't want to see gray thread over the hearts, I would outline them.

  5. I would like to vote but I have no idea what the poll is asking : )
So I'm going to say that whatever you decide will be perfect because the quilt looks great already!

  6. Okay I know that you didn't give this option, but I think a simple cross hatching over the entire quilt would look nice. Or an all over zigzag.

  7. I am definitely not sick of seeing this quilt yet! Quite the opposite. It makes me so happy!

  8. I love this quilt! If you're in a hurry I'd go for the pantograph or just straight lines running top to bottom :)

  9. Like some of the others, I'm not sure about the dark gray thread over the hearts. If you went with a lighter gray maybe it would kind of blend into the colors and yet also show up on the gray. Just a thought.

  10. I love it! What sort of panto are you thinking of? I have fallen in love with the pantograph Denyse Schmidt uses on her quilts (go google and take a close look - many are the same quilting). Simple and really makes the blocks shine! :) That's my opinion though. :) And grey thread or sure.
