Countdown and winnings

The other day I received some fabric from Lea at Podunk Pretties that I won in her giveaway.  I love it...I love blue and I love daisies.  I have a baby quilt in mind for it, but could end up changing my mind.  We'll see what happens.

I also finished the countdown top.  The numbers were a pattern by Meadow Mist Designs.  I think it might look better with a little more space between the numbers, but it is already pretty long.  So all things considered, I'm pretty happy with it.

    What a great idea to use number prints in this way! I like to appliqué children's names onto the quilts that I make them but I might try this in future x

    I really like your numbers (and the rocket, too!). I just did some, like, improv-pieced numbers, but I like these much better. Bookmarking the pattern now, thank you!

    Wow a terrific hanging. Quiet Play now has a weekly linky party for all things paper pieced. Nice to get fabric for free...I spy some Katie Jump Rope daisies.
