FMQ practice

I did several sample pieces over the last few weeks of FMQ.

The basic meander along with squares and rectangles.

Seaweed.  Or Palm Trees.  Or, if you look at it upside-down, water lilies.

Meandering loops and meandering stars

Back and forth and echo. Echoing a pattern was harder than I expected...it's hard to keep the long lines straight.

Linking up with Plum and June and Quilting by the River.

  2. These look so great! I need to finally start playing with my free motion foot. It's been sitting waiting for me since the end of June.

  4. Love your different quilting patterns! It's so nice to be able to pick and choose a different design instead of always doing the same one.

  6. That looks good. My problem with practicing FM is I get so bored with it after a few minutes. That's not long enough to get really good at it LOL.
