I finished piecing my Tetris quilt today! I'm trying really hard to get it into the Tetris parade on the 11th, but I'm not sure that I'm that fast at quilting. Hopefully.
The front (sorry about the weird angle). The pieces on the border correlate to the order that I put them on the grid (until I didn't need anymore little pieces). So the one that's folded over (blue square) was first. The green piece was second, ect.
Here's the back. I played an actual Tetris game with the pieces.
I guess that, technically, the piecing isn't completed. I put one of the sides on the back on upside-down. The good news is that I can just take out that small section and resew. But it's still annoying.

Your top looks incredible!!! I love the way you made the cute little blocks on the side. What a creative way to finish it up!!! And the backing, so cute!! Sorry you have to do a little unpicking. That stinks :(
ReplyDeleteOOH! This looks AMAZING! I love the colors, I love the border, and I love the back! I just love this quilt! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool quilt top!! I never would have thought to do something like that.
ReplyDeleteI love the border. It's a great idea. The quilt looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I'm glad you included the way it would have looked if you were actually playing. And of course the border is awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! The little pieces on the sides are so much fun!
ReplyDeletethe side detail and mixing scale is a really nice element to the design - it's a winner
ReplyDeleteThe border really makes this. Also love the black background!
ReplyDeleteI love how this is turning out. Your setting/borders are just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like the little pieces down the side and the game on the back. I've got my top finished but can't decide about doing something extra on the back. May not have time cause I want to get it done for the parade too.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Good luck with the quilting! Whoop whoop!!
