Progress

Here's some of my progress from the last two weeks.

All the T-shirts have fusible webbing on them.  I was a little disappointed in the interfacing...it took forever to fuse.  It's the first time I've used interfacing, so it could be normal, but I was hoping it would go faster.  But, they're all ready and I have sashing fabric, so I'm moving forward.

The orange baby blanket that I'm trying to finish by the end of the month is about halfway quilted.    I'm using my ruler base to make several straight lines.

I started cutting squares for the 1-up quilt.  I'm trying to be extra careful with these fabrics and not let the cat sit on them...it could be harder than it sounds.

  1. We have some things in common. I have a T shirt quilt waiting to be made. I have made one but this one was already "helpfully" cut up by the owner of the shirts and she cut them very small. Secondly-I have issues with my white cat wanting to lay on any material left out. Baby quilt looks really nice as well:)

  2. My cat love piles too! She normally takes over whatever I am working on. Guessing it is a mix of: "I want attention now", and "Ah, that smells like Esther... let's plunk down here".
I have never used fusibles/interfacing, so I can't help you there! Your quilting looks lovely! I love pebbles!
Lots of fun finishing the baby quilt!

  3. My cat also loves stacks of fabric and any fabric that I have just pressed.
